As promised earlier this month: we are bringing two episodes this month of the renewed YouTube series “On the Air.” Bobby is telling the story of how he and brother Sonny got to the Opry. In the previous episode Bobby touched on what it was like growing up in Hyden, Kentucky as a small boy. In this episode Bobby talks about his time spent in Dayton, Ohio and some of his first influences in music and some of the first bands he played in prior to meeting Larry Richardson!
Two years ago Bobby tested a YouTube series that he called “On the Air.” Now, Bobby is bringing the series back with a special edition for his 50th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. The first ten-minute episode starts with Bobby telling stories about his time as a small boy in Hyden, Kentucky and future episodes will follow his story of getting to the Opry and beyond.
All episodes of “On the Air” will be available to watch at Bobby’s website www.bobbyosborne.com or on his YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/bobbyosbornertx.
UPTDATE: If you’ve been having problems viewing the video: the problem should be fixed now!
